Dr. Lorna Catford's First Book

(For those who don't know, Lorna and I met in 1978 while working at CTB/McGraw-Hill developing educational materials and prescriptive reading tests and have remained best friends since. Lorna currently makes her home in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Among the gazillion of things she manages to do over and above the family and writing books is to teach creativity in business at Stanford University, creativity and psychology classes at Sonoma State University, be an advocate for research and education in Rhett's Syndrome, and be my friend.)

Cover of Lorna's book, published 1991. See below for inscription and dedication. She's known me since I started loving dolphins; she even found one to ride for a photo for me!
